Appointment Cancellation Policy

We completely understand that life happens. Please be considerate if you need to cancel your appointment with a 48 hour advance notice to avoid any rescheduling fees by calling or texting us at 618-236-9698 Tuesday - Friday, or EMAILing us at info@styleinsmithton.com after hours or on weekends. Please DO NOT reply to the automated reminder system.

If your service is cancelled within the 48 hours prior to the appointment, you will be charged 50% of the service fee if the time cannot be booked with another client.
If you do not show up for your appointment, and fail to notify us, you will be charged 100% of the service fee since the time cannot be booked with another client.

Running Late to your Appointment?
We will do everything we can to accommodate you. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to shorten the service, or reschedule. If we cannot accommodate due to your late arrival, 50% of the service will be charged, and another appointment will be scheduled.

Health & Safety
​
Our Main Priority is the health of our team, our guests, and their families. If you feel even the slightest flu-like symptoms, cough, or fever, or you have been in contact with someone who is experiencing any of these symptoms - please reschedule.

It is imperative that we keep a safe and healthy work environment for the wellbeing of our team.
​
All cancellation fees will be waived for illness related rescheduling.

Little Ones
​
Salons are not safe places for children, as there are many sharp and hot objects, dangling cords, and hazardous chemicals within their reach. Children are welcome in the salon when they have an appointment scheduled, and are accompanied by an adult. Please be considerate with other guests who come to the Salon to relax and unwind.

Payments
​
Cash and major credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Independent Stylists may also accept Venmo, or other digital forms of currency.
​
Gift Cards are available for any service or dollar amount, and can be purchased directly from our website to print, email or text, as you choose.
​
Guarantee
Although we do not give cash refunds, all products & services have a 10 day guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied, the service can be adjusted, and the product can be exchaged. Your happiness is our main goal.
